When i was driving to Boca Raton from the west coasr of Florida i was stopped at an interection by state troopers who not only blocked my but the entire interection adn allowed two at least 150ft long concreat girder transports go through. the cab driver had to drive at a walkign pace when making the turn while two workers walked with the tail and appropratlty rotated the back to follow. they had to unlock and relock the back to be able to turn it. during the transport because of the width it couldn't drive in just one lane, when it came to curves in the road the troopers drove ahead and stopped traffic before the curve so these trucks could use the whole road, while driving in general the troopers pushed the oncoming traffic to the side of the road. these girders traveled over 60 miles this way until they reached there construction site where a bridge was being built.
